Description
In New York City following the terrorist attacks of 9/11, Hans, a banker from the Netherlands, finds himself marooned among the occupants of the Chelsea Hotel after his English wife and son return to London. Alone, untethered, and feeling lost in the country he'd come to regard as home, Hans stumbles upon the vibrant New York subculture of cricket, where he meets a Gatsby-like figure (Chuck Ramkissoon) he begins to not only reconnect with his life and his adopted country, but also hold fast to a sense of possibility in which he has lost faith.
