Louis Comfort Tiffany, owner of a glass studio, hires only unmarried female artisans, and Clara Driscoll, who he employs as manager, remains unmarried after the death of her husband and the disappearance of another suitor, and continues to craft the jewel-toned glass windows and lamps at the studio.
