Former Mossad agent Gabriel Allon travels to Moscow to investigate the brutal murder of a journalist. There he uncovers a plot by a successful Russian businessman to provide arms to al-Qaeda in an effort to bring down the U.S. and restore the power and glory of the Soviet Union. Allon must act quickly if he is to have any hope of preventing this disaster.
